Quick answer

Yes — MC-POS Cloud is on the App Store for iPhone and runs on iOS 16 or newer: iPhone 8, iPhone X, iPhone SE (2nd generation) and every newer iPhone.

Bill with the camera as your barcode scanner, print on a pocket Bluetooth LE printer, or send the bill as a PDF or invoice link on WhatsApp. It works with no internet and syncs later.

How to install MC-POS on an iPhone

  1. Install the app. Open the App Store and install MC-POS Cloud — one app for iPhone and iPad.
  2. Create your business. Sign up free inside the app, or on mcpos.mycodlabs.com, and add your products, taxes and outlet.
  3. Pick the printer. Settings → Printers. Choose a Bluetooth LE printer from the list, or type the IP of a Wi-Fi printer.
  4. Start billing. Scan or tap an item, take cash, card, UPI or credit, print or share the bill. The same business opens on every phone, tablet, terminal and computer you add.

MC-POS needs iOS / iPadOS 16 or newer — iPhone 8 or newer, iPhone SE (2nd generation) or newer, iPad 5th generation or newer, iPad mini 5 or newer, iPad Air 3 or newer, or any iPad Pro. It bills with no internet and syncs when the connection is back.

iPhone devices that run MC-POS

The phone layout puts billing one thumb away. Every iPhone below runs MC-POS.

Device What it is MC-POS on it
iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone Air 2025 models Full POS and owner reports
iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro and 16e 2024–2025 models Billing, stock checks and van sales
iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 series 2022–2023 models Mobile billing with a Bluetooth LE printer
iPhone 13, iPhone 12 and iPhone 11 series 2019–2021 models Delivery and collection on the move
iPhone XS, iPhone XR and iPhone X 2017–2018 models Owner's phone: sales, dues and stock alerts
iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus 2017 models The oldest iPhones that run iOS 16 — still fine for billing
iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation) Compact A low-cost second till for a stall or a waiter

iOS 16 runs on iPhone 8 and newer and iPhone SE (2nd generation) and newer. iPhone 7, iPhone 6s and the first iPhone SE cannot install the app.

Printing bills from an iPhone

For billing on the move, a pocket 58 mm Bluetooth LE thermal printer is the usual partner — MC-POS finds it in Settings → Printers (no pairing in iPhone settings needed). At a fixed counter, a Wi-Fi or LAN printer by IP address works too; allow Local Network access when iOS asks.

Classic Bluetooth printers that only pair with a PIN cannot be used by any iPhone app — Apple does not allow it. Check that the printer says BLE, Bluetooth 4.0 or "iOS supported" before you buy. No printer at all? Share the bill as a PDF or an invoice link on WhatsApp, SMS or email.

What you can run on an iPhone

From an iPhone you can run the whole business, not just take a payment:

Billing & invoices

Barcode or touch billing, held bills, split payment, cash / card / UPI / credit, tax invoices, 80 mm and 58 mm receipts and A4 invoices, sales returns and refunds.

Orders & tables

Take-away and dine-in orders, tables and floors, KOT printing to the kitchen, split payment, service charge and tips, QR menu ordering (Restaurant plan).

Purchases & suppliers

Purchase orders, goods receipt, purchase returns, landed cost, supplier dues and payments — so your cost price and profit are real, not guessed.

Stock & inventory

Batches and expiry, variants and units, racks, multi-warehouse stock, transfers, adjustments, stock value and a full stock ledger.

Accounting built in

Every bill posts itself: ledgers, journal, trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, cash drawer, bank accounts, expenses and fiscal-year close.

Staff & HR

User roles and permissions per counter, shifts and attendance, salary, payouts, commissions and an employee self-service app (Advanced plan).

Tax & e-invoicing

GST / VAT with inclusive or exclusive prices, tax breakdown on the bill, Saudi ZATCA and UAE VAT e-invoicing with QR (Advanced plan).

AI that works for you

Ask your data a question in plain English, AI sales insights and stock alerts, AI-written WhatsApp and campaign messages, AI reports you can export (add-on).

The same business also opens on Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows, macOS and the web — so the owner can watch every counter from anywhere. See everything in MC-POS Cloud.

Van sales and delivery from an iPhone

Load stock into a van, bill shops on the route, collect cash or note credit, and print the bill on a pocket printer. MC-POS van sales give each driver their own van stock and their own login, and the office sees every sale when the phone syncs.

The owner's phone

Even when the counters are Android terminals or Windows PCs, the owner usually lives on the iPhone. Today's sales by till, cash in the drawers, customer dues, low stock and AI insights are all there — and you can ask your data a question in plain English.

Markets, events and pop-ups

No counter, no Wi-Fi, no problem. MC-POS bills offline on the iPhone, takes cash, card or UPI as tender, and syncs everything when you reach a network again.
