POS billing app for PAX Android terminals
A PAX terminal is usually given to you by your bank or payment company, and it comes with one app: the card app. MCPOS Cloud adds the other half — billing, tax invoices, stock, purchases, accounting and reports — so the same machine that takes the payment also runs the business.

Yes — MCPOS Cloud runs on PAX Android SmartPOS terminals such as the A920, A920 Pro, A920 MAX, A910, A960, A80, A800, A77, A50 and A6650. They run Android (PAX calls it PayDroid), and MCPOS is an Android app.
One thing to know before you start: most PAX terminals are locked by the bank or acquirer that gave them to you, and new apps are installed through PAXSTORE by that company, not from Google Play. If your terminal has Google Play or allows APK install, you can put MCPOS on it yourself in two minutes. If it does not, ask your acquirer to publish MCPOS to your terminal, or run MCPOS on a phone or tablet beside the PAX and keep the PAX for payments only — both are common.
How to put MCPOS on a PAX terminal
- Install the app. Open Google Play on the terminal and install MCPOS Cloud. If the terminal has no Play Store (some payment terminals ship with the acquirer's own app market), write to us and we will send the APK for your model.
- Create your business. Sign up free inside the app, or on mcpos.mycodlabs.com, and add your products, taxes and outlet.
- Pick the printer. Settings → Printers. On PAX, print to a Bluetooth, USB or network thermal printer; for the built-in printer, ask us about a driver for your model.
- Start billing. Scan or tap an item, take cash, card, UPI or credit, print the bill. The same business opens on the owner's phone, the back-office computer and the web.
MCPOS needs Android 6.0 or newer and about 150 MB free. It bills with no internet at all and syncs when the terminal gets Wi-Fi or a SIM again — which is what most PAX terminals are used for.

Printing bills on PAX
PAX terminals with a built-in printer (A920 family, A80, A77, E-series) expose that printer through PAX's own developer SDK, which is released to approved developers per acquirer. MCPOS therefore prints on PAX today through a Bluetooth, USB or network ESC/POS printer — the small thermal printers sold everywhere — and that covers most shops, because the PAX is usually used for the card payment while the receipt comes from the counter printer.
If you want MCPOS to print on the PAX internal printer itself, tell us your exact model and who supplied it. We build vendor print drivers into a small helper app, and we add brands as customers ask for them. The bill can also be sent instead of printed: MCPOS shares a signed invoice link on WhatsApp, which many shops now prefer.

Installing an app on a locked PAX terminal
PAX runs PayDroid, a hardened Android. Apps normally arrive through PAXSTORE, the marketplace your acquirer controls, and some terminals also have Google Play. Three routes work:
- Google Play on the terminal — install MCPOS Cloud directly.
- Ask your acquirer to push MCPOS to your terminal from their PAXSTORE marketplace. We will help with the paperwork; write to us.
- Keep the PAX for payments only and run MCPOS on an Android phone, tablet, Windows PC or the web. The bill and the card slip are separate pieces of paper, which many shops are happy with.
Card payment and MCPOS on one screen
MCPOS does not take a cut of your sales and does not care which bank you use. You bill in MCPOS, choose the tender — cash, card, UPI, wallet, bank transfer or customer credit — and take the card payment in your PAX app as usual. MCPOS records the tender split, the change, the customer due and the accounting entries behind it, so your cash drawer and your card settlement both reconcile at the end of the day.
Where PAX terminals are used most
PAX is the terminal of choice for banks and payment companies across India, the Gulf, Africa, Latin America and Europe. Wherever a PAX is used for payment, the shop still needs stock, purchases, GST or VAT, supplier dues and a profit number. Can I install MCPOS on a PAX A920?
Yes, if your terminal allows app installation. Many A920 terminals have Google Play or an acquirer marketplace called PAXSTORE. If yours is locked, ask the bank or payment company that gave it to you to publish MCPOS to it, or run MCPOS on a phone or tablet beside the PAX.
Does MCPOS print on the PAX built-in printer?
Not yet on every model. Today MCPOS prints to Bluetooth, USB or network thermal printers from a PAX terminal. Tell us your model and supplier and we can add a driver for the internal printer in our print helper app.
What is the best billing app for a PAX A920 Pro?
