POS software for AURES

POS billing software for AURES terminals

AURES terminals are a favourite of European cafés, bakeries and boutiques — the YUNO alone has been sold by the hundreds of thousands. MC-POS Cloud runs on them: billing and tax invoices, orders and KOT, purchases, stock, accounting, staff, e-invoicing and AI.

Quick answer

Yes — MC-POS Cloud runs on AURES terminals with Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit): install it with the .msi installer. AURES also ships some models with Android — on those, install MC-POS Cloud from Google Play.

Terminals still on Windows 7, POSReady 7 or Windows 8 Industry need Windows 10 or 11 first.

How to install MC-POS on an AURES terminal

  1. Install the app. Get MC-POS Cloud from the Microsoft Store, or download the .msi installer from the MC-POS download page. Use the .msi on POS terminals with Windows IoT Enterprise — the Store is usually switched off there.
  2. Create your business. Sign up free inside the app, or on mcpos.mycodlabs.com, and add your products, taxes and outlet.
  3. Pick the printer. Settings → Printers. Pick the receipt printer from the Windows printer list, or type the IP of a network printer.
  4. Start billing. Scan or tap an item, take cash, card, UPI or credit, print or share the bill. The same business opens on every phone, tablet, terminal and computer you add.

MC-POS needs Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit (Home, Pro or IoT Enterprise), 4 GB of RAM or more and about 1 GB free disk. It bills with no internet and syncs when the connection is back.

Printing bills from an AURES terminal

AURES counters usually pair with an AURES ODP or other 80 mm thermal printer and a cash drawer. With the printer installed in Windows (USB, or a COM port with its driver), MC-POS prints ESC/POS to it; network printers work by IP address. The cash drawer on the printer opens through it.
