POS software for FEC

POS billing software for FEC (Firich) terminals

FEC (Firich Enterprises) has made POS terminals in Taiwan since 1995, and its fan-less touch terminals are common across Australia, Asia and Europe. MC-POS Cloud runs on them as a Windows app — billing and tax invoices, orders, purchases, stock, accounting, staff, e-invoicing and AI.

Quick answer

Yes — MC-POS Cloud runs on FEC terminals with Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), such as the PP-9715W, PP-9735 and XPOS XP-3685W. Install it with the .msi installer, sign up free and print your first bill.

Older AerPOS units on Windows 7 need Windows 10 or 11 first.

How to install MC-POS on an FEC terminal

  1. Install the app. Get MC-POS Cloud from the Microsoft Store, or download the .msi installer from the MC-POS download page. Use the .msi on POS terminals with Windows IoT Enterprise — the Store is usually switched off there.
  2. Create your business. Sign up free inside the app, or on mcpos.mycodlabs.com, and add your products, taxes and outlet.
  3. Pick the printer. Settings → Printers. Pick the receipt printer from the Windows printer list, or type the IP of a network printer.
  4. Start billing. Scan or tap an item, take cash, card, UPI or credit, print or share the bill. The same business opens on every phone, tablet, terminal and computer you add.

MC-POS needs Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit (Home, Pro or IoT Enterprise), 4 GB of RAM or more and about 1 GB free disk. It bills with no internet and syncs when the connection is back.

Printing bills from an FEC terminal

Install the receipt printer in Windows (USB, or a COM port with its driver) and choose it in MC-POS Settings → Printers. Any ESC/POS thermal printer works, 58 mm or 80 mm, plus network printers by IP for the kitchen. The cash drawer on the printer opens through it.

What you can run on an FEC terminal

An FEC terminal with MC-POS runs the whole shop:

Billing & invoices

Barcode or touch billing, held bills, split payment, cash / card / UPI / credit, tax invoices, 80 mm and 58 mm receipts and A4 invoices, sales returns and refunds.

Orders & tables

Take-away and dine-in orders, tables and floors, KOT printing to the kitchen, split payment, service charge and tips, QR menu ordering (Restaurant plan).

Purchases & suppliers

Purchase orders, goods receipt, purchase returns, landed cost, supplier dues and payments — so your cost price and profit are real, not guessed.

Stock & inventory

Batches and expiry, variants and units, racks, multi-warehouse stock, transfers, adjustments, stock value and a full stock ledger.

Accounting built in

Every bill posts itself: ledgers, journal, trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, cash drawer, bank accounts, expenses and fiscal-year close.

Staff & HR

User roles and permissions per counter, shifts and attendance, salary, payouts, commissions and an employee self-service app (Advanced plan).

Tax & e-invoicing

GST / VAT with inclusive or exclusive prices, tax breakdown on the bill, Saudi ZATCA and UAE VAT e-invoicing with QR (Advanced plan).

AI that works for you

Ask your data a question in plain English, AI sales insights and stock alerts, AI-written WhatsApp and campaign messages, AI reports you can export (add-on).

The same business also opens on Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows, macOS and the web — so the owner can watch every counter from anywhere. See everything in MC-POS Cloud.

Fan-less and offline-first

Fan-less FEC terminals suit kitchens and dusty stores, and MC-POS suits patchy networks: everything needed to bill lives on the terminal, and it syncs to the cloud when it can.

Touch or keyboard

Use the touch layout with product tiles, or tap Desktop billing for an entry row and F-keys (F3 item, F4 discount, F9 checkout) — saved per terminal.
