VAT and e-invoicing for UAE retailers
- Walk-in customers: a simplified tax invoice with 5% VAT is enough. Retail (B2C) sales are out of scope of UAE e-invoicing for now, so your counter receipts do not change.
- Business customers: a full tax invoice with your TRN and theirs. From 2027, these B2B invoices and their credit notes must go through your Accredited Service Provider — MC-POS sends them for you.
- Your suppliers will send their invoices electronically too. MC-POS receives them into an inbox and turns them into purchase orders.
- Prices: show prices with VAT included or added on top — MC-POS handles both, and the receipt shows the VAT.

A day in a UAE store with MC-POS
- Open: start the shift with your cash float — the till works even if the shop Wi-Fi is down.
- Sell: scan, pick the size or colour, add a discount, take payment, and print or share the VAT receipt.
- Restock: receive the supplier delivery against a purchase order, and stock goes up in the right branch.
- Move: transfer stock to the branch that is running low.
- Close: count the drawer, print the day-end report and check profit from your phone.

Frequently asked questions
Is MC-POS a full store management system or only a POS?
Both. MC-POS Cloud bills at the counter and also runs stock, purchases, suppliers, customers, branches, loyalty, an online store and full accounting — in one app.
Can I manage stock across branches in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi?
Yes. Each branch and warehouse has its own stock. Transfer stock between them and see reports for one branch or all of them.
Does it print VAT invoices with my TRN?
Yes. Receipts and tax invoices show 5% VAT and your TRN, in Arabic and English, on thermal paper or A4.
Does my shop need e-invoicing?
Not for walk-in customers — B2C sales are out of scope for now. If you sell to VAT-registered businesses, those B2B invoices must go through an Accredited Service Provider from 2027, and MC-POS sends them for you.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. The MC-POS apps bill fully offline and sync sales and stock when the connection comes back.
Can I sell online too?
Yes. The Advanced plan includes your own online store, using the same products and stock as your shop.
