Bank transactions

Deposits, withdrawals and transfers between accounts.

Steps

1. Open it

   Banking → Bank Transactions.

2. Record a deposit

   Taking the day's cash to the bank. Say which account it came from — the entry names both sides, so cash and bank both move correctly.

3. Record a withdrawal

   Cash drawn for the float or for an expense.

4. Transfer

   Between two of your own accounts.

Good to know

• Always name the other account on a deposit. Without it the entry has only one side and your cash account will not come down.
