Business details

Your name, address, tax registration, currency, logo and regional settings. Almost everything printed on a document comes from here.

The Business details screen in MCPOS.
The Business details screen in MCPOS.

Steps

  1. Open it

    My Business → Business Details.

  2. Identity

Legal name, trading name, address, phone and email. These are what a customer sees on an invoice, so write them the way you want them to appear.

  3. Tax registration

Your VAT or GST number, and the switch that decides whether this business charges tax at all. Turning tax off hides tax everywhere rather than setting it to zero.

  4. Currency and decimals

Under Regional. Decimal places apply everywhere — the browser, the till app and every report — so change it once, deliberately.

  5. Logo

Upload here. It flows to receipts, invoices, the catalogue and the online store.

Good to know

  • Decimal places is a business setting, not a print setting. Setting it to 0 for a cash-only shop rounds displayed money everywhere.
  • A till that has already synced keeps its own copy of these settings; it refreshes them on its next sync.
