Cash ledger

Wider than the drawer: every movement of money across all your cash and bank accounts.

Steps

1. Open it

   Finance → Cash Ledger.

2. Read a row

   Each row names the account it moved, so cash and bank are never confused.

3. Filter

   By account, date or document type.

Good to know

• Use the cash drawer for a shift count, and the cash ledger to trace where a payment went.
