E-invoicing setup (ZATCA)

For Saudi Arabia. Connect MCPOS to ZATCA so invoices are signed and reported as the rules require.

Steps

  1. Open it

    My Business → E-Invoicing.

  2. Check your tax details first

Your VAT number and legal address must be correct in Business Details. ZATCA rejects invoices that do not match its records.

  3. Onboard the device

Enter the one-time code from the ZATCA portal. MCPOS requests and stores the certificate for that terminal.

  4. Test against the sandbox

Run test invoices through the sandbox before going live. Fix anything rejected there, not in production.

  5. Go live

Switch to production. Simplified invoices are reported after the sale; standard invoices are cleared before being handed over.

Good to know

  • The QR code appears only for a business genuinely registered for VAT. A shop that is not registered should not print one, and MCPOS will not.
  • A registered till can sign an invoice while offline and report it when the connection comes back, so a broken line does not stop trade.
