Live Orders

Every open order as a card — table, waiter, time, dishes and kitchen progress — with the payment one step away.

Steps

1. Open it

   The Live Orders tile → List view. (Table View shows the same orders on the floor plan.)

2. Read the counts

   Open, New, Preparing, Ready and Done today across the top. The chips filter the cards to one of them.

3. Read a card

   Table, order number, KOT or TO BILL, waiter and the minutes since it opened, then each dish with its kitchen status — sent, preparing, ready, served.

4. Settle

   Tap to settle opens the order. Add a service charge or a discount, then Invoice to take the payment, or Finish to mark the table done. Both wait for the kitchen: until every dish is marked ready the button reads Waiting for Kitchen. An order not sent yet shows Send to Kitchen instead.
