Receipts and print defaults

Paper size, template, what appears on a receipt, and how many copies. Set once, used by every till.

Steps

  1. Open it

    My Business → Print Defaults.

  2. Choose paper

    Thermal roll (58mm or 80mm) or A4/A5 for a full invoice. The layout redraws for the width you pick.

  3. Pick a template

    There are eleven built-in receipt and invoice layouts. Preview each one before deciding.

  4. Choose what shows

    Logo, tax breakdown, customer details, footer text, table borders. Borders are on by default because they survive cheap thermal paper better than whitespace does.

  5. Header and footer text

    Your return policy, your thanks, your social handles. It prints on every receipt.

Good to know

  • Nothing prints automatically after a sale. Printing is always a deliberate action, so a busy counter does not waste a roll.
  • If a printed receipt comes out with a long blank feed at the end, that is a printer setting, not a template problem.
