Online table orders (QR)

A QR code on each table opens your menu on the guest's phone. With table ordering on, guests order themselves and the order lands on the till as that table's order.

Steps

  1. Publish your store

Online Store → Store Profile: give the store its link (slug), publish it, and turn on ordering from the table. With ordering off, the codes show the menu only.

  2. Print the codes

Restaurant → Tables → Table QR codes. Check the menu link base, tick the tables and press Print. Each code opens your menu for that table.

  3. Let the till receive them

On the app, Online table orders (QR) opens these orders as table orders. Auto send online orders to kitchen prints them at once; when it is off, they wait as NOT SENT until a staff member sends them.

  4. Serve as usual

A QR order arrives on the table like any other order — the waiter adds rounds and the cashier bills it.

Good to know

  • Switching table ordering on or off never needs the codes reprinted: the store decides when the code is scanned.
  • In Store Profile, table ordering can be fenced to your restaurant's location and a radius, so nobody down the street can order from your kitchen.
