Take an order at the till
The cashier takes a table's order on the same screen the waiters use, so every order reaches the kitchen the same way.
Steps
-
Open the table
On Table View, select the table. A free table starts a new order; a running one opens its order with the dishes already sent.
-
Add dishes
Select a dish, set the quantity and press Add to Order. Search finds a dish by name, and the side list filters by category.
-
Add a note for the cook
On a line, add a kitchen note — "less spicy", "no ice". It prints beside the dish on the ticket.
-
Send to the kitchen
Send to Kitchen prints the new lines in each kitchen and turns the table yellow. Lines already sent show their kitchen status — pending, preparing, ready — and cannot be repriced.
-
Add more rounds
Open the table again at any time. Only the new lines print, as a new ticket.
-
Bill it
Print Bill gives the guests their bill; Checkout takes the payment and closes the table. See "Bill and close a table".
