Table View

The floor at a glance: every table coloured by its state, with how long it has been open, its running total and its waiter.

Steps

1. Open it

   On the app, the Live Orders tile on the home screen. The header counts the running tables, the ones waiting to be paid, and all tables.

2. Read the colours

   Grey is blank — free. Yellow is running — dishes are being ordered and cooked. Green is printed — the bill has gone to the guests, or the waiter has finished the table, and it is waiting to be paid.

3. Start an order

   Select a free table to open the order screen for it. See "Take an order at the till".

4. Act on a running table

   Select it for Add items, View, Print, Finish, Bill or Release. The print and eye buttons on the tile print the bill and open the order without the menu.

   

5. Switch to the list

   List view shows the same orders as cards with their kitchen progress. See "Live Orders".

Good to know

• The board refreshes itself every 20 seconds and whenever a kitchen marks a dish, so it can stay open on a counter screen all service.
• Release frees a table without billing it — for guests who left before ordering, or an order opened on the wrong table.
