Steps

  1. Pick the table

The Tables tab lists every table by floor: green is available, red already has an order (Add items), finished is waiting for the bill. Orders lists your open orders; Completed lists today's closed ones.

    Pick the table
  2. Add dishes

Select dishes on the menu; each card shows how many you added. Category tabs and Search menu narrow the list.

  3. Review

REVIEW lists the new dishes. Change quantities with − and +, remove a line, or add a kitchen note to a dish.

  4. Order note

Order note for the kitchen is for the whole round. It prints as Customer Notes under the dishes.

  5. Send to kitchen

The tickets print in each kitchen and the table turns red on every device.

  6. Finish the table

When the guests ask for the bill, finish the order: the cashier sees the table waiting to be paid.

Good to know

  • On a tablet the app shows tables, menu and order at once, so a round takes a few touches.
  • The waiter app keeps no data of its own — everything lives on the master till — so a waiter can switch phones in the middle of a shift.
