The agreement between your business and My Code Labs when you use MCPOS Cloud, the MCPOS apps or anything else on this site.
Last updated · Applies to MCPOS Cloud, the MCPOS apps and mycodlabs.com
These terms govern your use of MCPOS Cloud, the MCPOS point-of-sale applications for Android, iOS, macOS, Windows and Linux, the customer online store, the employee app, and this website. They form a binding agreement between My Code Labs ("we", "us") and the business or person using the service ("you").
If you do not accept these terms, do not use the service. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.
MCPOS Cloud is business management software provided as a subscription. It includes point-of-sale billing, inventory, purchasing, customers, invoicing, accounting and — depending on your plan — HR, an online store, loyalty, and usage-based AI and WhatsApp services.
We may add, change or withdraw features. Where a change materially reduces the functionality of a paid plan, we will tell you before it takes effect and you may cancel for a pro-rata refund of the unused term.
A user is one login. You pay per user, per year. You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by your staff.
Prices are shown on our pricing page in US dollars, per user, per year, and are billed annually in advance. Local taxes such as VAT are added where the law requires it.
Price changes apply from your next renewal, never mid-term, and we will give at least 30 days' notice.
Your business data is yours. Products, customers, sales, stock and accounting records that you or your staff enter remain your property. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.
You may not use the service to:
The POS apps are designed to keep working without an internet connection and to sync when the connection returns. You accept that:
Sync as often as your connection allows, and keep device backups enabled.
We aim to keep the cloud service available at all times but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance is scheduled outside peak retail hours where practical and announced in advance where it is likely to be noticed.
Support is provided by email and WhatsApp during business hours. Paid plans above Essentials receive priority support. We do not currently offer a contractual uptime SLA with service credits; if you need one, contact us and we will discuss it separately.
The service includes features that support tax compliance, including KSA ZATCA e-invoicing and UAE VAT invoicing and reports.
These features assist you; they do not transfer responsibility. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your filings, for configuring taxes correctly for your business, and for meeting the obligations of your jurisdiction. Verify your setup with your accountant before relying on it.
Some features rely on providers outside our control — payment gateways such as UPI and Stripe, WhatsApp Business messaging, app stores, and cloud hosting. Their terms and charges apply in addition to ours, and their outages may affect the corresponding feature.
The software, its interface, the MCPOS and My Code Labs names and logos, and the documentation remain ours. Your subscription grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the term, and nothing more.
If you send us feedback or feature suggestions, we may implement them without obligation or payment.
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You may stop using the service at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term, and the Refund Policy governs any refund.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, if payment remains overdue after notice, or if required by law. Except where the law or the severity of the breach prevents it, we will give notice and a reasonable chance to put it right.
After termination we keep your data available for export for 90 days, then delete it on the schedule in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. For material changes affecting a paid subscription we will give notice by email or in the product before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
