Putting MCPOS on a POS terminal — three routes
It has Google Play
Most terminals bought outright — SUNMI, iMin, Telpo, Urovo and many others — have the Play Store. Install MCPOS Cloud, sign up free and bill in minutes.
The bank controls it
PAX, Newland, NEXGO, LANDI, Wiseasy and Morefun terminals given by an acquirer usually install apps only through that company's marketplace. Ask them to publish MCPOS — we will help with the paperwork.
Run it beside the terminal
Keep the terminal for card payments and run MCPOS on an Android phone, tablet, Windows PC, Mac, Linux box or the web. MCPOS still records the card tender, so the day-end figures balance.
Then set the printer
SUNMI: choose the paired InnerPrinter. Ciontek, HCC and Urovo: the MCPOS Print Helper drives the built-in printer. Everything else: any 58 mm or 80 mm Bluetooth, USB or network thermal printer.
MCPOS needs Android 6.0 or newer. Old terminals are normal for us — we have fixed the things that break modern apps on Android 6 and 7 hardware, from date handling to security certificates, because our own customers run that hardware every day.

The printer question, answered honestly
Every Android POS terminal prints the same way underneath — ESC/POS commands to a thermal printer. The difference is how the maker lets an app reach the printer inside the terminal. There are three cases, and we would rather tell you which one you are in than promise everything:
- SUNMI — the built-in printer is a paired Bluetooth device called InnerPrinter. Nothing to install, nothing to configure beyond choosing it.
- Ciontek, HCC Z-series, Urovo — MCPOS sends its receipt to the MCPOS Print Helper, a small companion app that carries the vendor driver, and the terminal prints. We send you the helper and set it up.
- Everyone else — print to any Bluetooth, USB or network thermal printer today. If you need the internal printer of a PAX, Telpo, iMin, Newland, NEXGO, Wiseasy, LANDI, Centerm, Vanstone, ZCS, Morefun or Topwise terminal, tell us the model — we add vendor drivers as customers ask for them.
Whatever the printer, MCPOS prints labels and barcodes as bitmaps, so item names in Arabic, Hindi, Tamil, Thai or Amharic come out exactly as they look on screen. And any bill can be sent instead of printed, as a signed invoice link on WhatsApp or email.

Can I install any app on a POS machine?
It depends on who gave you the terminal. Terminals bought outright, such as most SUNMI, iMin and Telpo devices, have Google Play and install anything. Terminals supplied by a bank or payment company are often locked to that company app store, so they either publish the app for you or you run it on a phone, tablet or PC beside the terminal.
Will the built-in printer of my POS terminal work?
On SUNMI it works with nothing extra, because the printer is a paired Bluetooth device called InnerPrinter. On Ciontek, HCC Z-series and Urovo terminals MCPOS drives the built-in printer through the MCPOS Print Helper app. On every other brand MCPOS prints to Bluetooth, USB or network thermal printers today, and we add vendor drivers per model on request.
Does the POS app work without internet?
Yes. MCPOS keeps products, prices, customers and dues on the device, so billing, printing and returns work with no network. Everything syncs to the cloud when the terminal is online again.
Is there a free POS billing app for Android POS terminals?
